šThe most straight-forward way of investing in gold is buying physical gold bars. Yet itās hard to argue that itās more convenient to hold the digital version, while the underlying gold be stored in a secure vault in Liechtenstein, as in the case of VNX, as opposed to in your home.
Then there are ETFs or gold derivatives. Trick with them is that they donāt actually serve as proof of ownership of physical gold! Thatās right, there is no contractual obligation by the ETF or derivative provider to issue actual gold to the holder upon liquidation.
